Al-Ittihad Ready to Make Another Huge Bid for Mohamed Salah Amid Liverpool’s Transition

Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad is reportedly gearing up for another substantial offer to secure Mohamed Salah, sparking further questions about the future of several key Liverpool players.

With Liverpool entering a new era following Jurgen Klopp’s departure and the appointment of Arne Slot as head coach, the club faces the critical task of retaining its star players to ensure a smooth transition. Salah’s potential departure would be a significant setback for the Reds, given his consistent goal-scoring prowess since joining from Roma in 2017.

Al-Ittihad Eyeing Salah with Massive Offer

Losing Salah would pose a significant challenge for Liverpool, as replacing his contributions on the pitch would be daunting. The Egyptian forward was previously targeted by Saudi Arabian clubs last summer, with interest in making him the marquee player of the Saudi Pro League. However, he chose to remain at Anfield.

Currently, Al-Ittihad is undergoing managerial changes, with Marcelo Gallardo expected to leave the club soon. This transition has temporarily paused their transfer activities, but Salah remains an exception. According to Rudy Galetti’s report for TEAMtalk, Al-Ittihad is preparing a substantial “monster offer” to secure the Egyptian winger, who is their top target.

The Saudi club, which already includes stars like Fabinho, Karim Benzema, and N’Golo Kante, is keen to bolster its squad quality after a disappointing fifth-place finish in the league. Despite their strong interest, TEAMtalk notes that the pursuit of Salah isn’t progressing as quickly as some at Al-Ittihad would prefer.

Last season, Salah scored 25 goals and provided 14 assists in all competitions for Liverpool. If he stays, he is expected to play a crucial role under Slot in the upcoming campaign. As the situation develops, Liverpool fans and management will be closely watching to see if Salah remains a pivotal part of the club’s future.
