Brentford Finalize Permanent Signing of Fabio Carvalho

Fabio Carvalho has officially completed a permanent move to Brentford, ending his two-year tenure with Liverpool. The 21-year-old forward sealed his transfer to the Bees today, marking a new chapter in his professional career under the guidance of Thomas Frank.

Carvalho first joined Liverpool in July 2022, arriving from Fulham with high expectations. During his time with the Reds, he made 21 competitive appearances and found the back of the net three times. His debut came as a substitute in the 2022 FA Community Shield, where Liverpool triumphed over Manchester City.

Carvalho’s first goal for Liverpool was a memorable one, coming in August 2022 during the team’s emphatic 9-0 win against AFC Bournemouth at Anfield. Just a few days later, he thrilled fans by scoring a dramatic 98th-minute winner against Newcastle United, further endearing himself to the Liverpool faithful.

In the 2023-24 season, Carvalho gained additional experience through loan spells at RB Leipzig and Hull City. Upon returning to Liverpool in the summer, he participated in pre-season matches, showcasing his skills and growth as a player.

Now, Carvalho is set to continue his development with Brentford as they prepare for their upcoming Premier League season, which kicks off on Sunday against Crystal Palace.

Liverpool Football Club extends its best wishes to Fabio Carvalho, hoping for his continued success as he embarks on this new journey.
