Dates Set for Liverpool’s Champions League Matches, Opening with AC Milan Clash

Matchday Schedule and Key Highlights for Liverpool Supporters

Liverpool’s fixture list for the upcoming stage of the competition includes some exciting matchups, with Matchday 4 seeing Bayer Leverkusen visit Anfield on Tuesday, November 5, at 8:00 PM. Later in the month, on Wednesday, November 27, Real Madrid will also arrive at Anfield for a crucial encounter, kicking off at 8:00 PM.

An early kickoff awaits in December, as Liverpool travel to Girona on Tuesday, December 10, with the match scheduled to begin at 5:45 PM. After the new year, Liverpool will face Lille at home on Tuesday, January 21, at 8:00 PM, before heading to Eindhoven to take on PSV on Wednesday, January 29, also with an 8:00 PM start.

One notable detail for fans is that the Real Madrid match falls just days before Liverpool’s home clash with Manchester City in November, adding extra significance to this period. In another stretch, Liverpool will play three consecutive home games, as the visit of Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen is sandwiched between Premier League matches against Brighton and Aston Villa, both at Anfield.

This season’s competition format has changed, with the first stage extending until the end of January. It remains unclear how many points will be needed to advance, but the top eight teams in the 36-team league will automatically qualify for the last 16. Teams finishing between ninth and 24th will battle it out in 16 playoff matches to secure the remaining eight spots.

For UK fans, all these fixtures will be broadcast live on TNT Sports.
