Liverpool are set to switch kit providers starting in the 2025/26 season, with Adidas set to take over from Nike.
This marks the club’s return to Adidas after 13 years, having previously worn the brand’s kits between 1985 and 1996, and again from 2006 to 2012, which included some of the team’s most iconic designs.
Although the official announcement has yet to be made, reports suggest that the deal between Liverpool and Adidas is already finalized, and plans for next season’s kits are well underway. Footy Headlines has leaked details of the first kit, which is expected to be the goalkeeper’s jersey.
According to the report, the 2025/26 goalkeeper kit will feature a black base with light green accents, including the Adidas logo, the Liverpool crest, Standard Chartered branding, and the iconic three stripes down the sleeves. The design follows Adidas’ new 25 Tiro Goalkeeper Competition template, which will be used across various goalkeeper shirts next season.
In addition to the black and light green color scheme, the kit will have dark grey accents on the sleeves and a light green panel running down the sides of the shirt. While goalkeeper kits typically don’t attract as much attention as outfield kits, the switch to Adidas has already generated excitement among fans.
Further details on the home, away, and third kits for the 2025/26 season are expected to surface later, but this initial leak gives a glimpse of what fans can anticipate from the upcoming Adidas partnership.
