However, leaving Liverpool may not be so straightforward. Renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has shed some light on the situation, revealing that the Reds are preparing to initiate contract talks with Alexander-Arnold.
Romano explained, “Liverpool will have their opportunity to keep Trent at the club and extend his contract. We’ll have to wait and see how negotiations progress.”
Romano also addressed the ongoing rumors about Real Madrid’s interest in the defender, clarifying that while the Spanish giants have expressed admiration for Alexander-Arnold in the past, nothing concrete has developed recently. “Real Madrid’s appreciation is something I mentioned back in March, but as of now, there’s no fresh or substantial update,” he added.
