Manchester City’s Ruben Dias opened the scoring for Portugal in the 17th minute, setting the stage for Jota’s contribution. Just before half-time, Portugal were awarded a penalty. Liverpool forward Jota confidently stepped up and sent the keeper the wrong way, securing the team’s second goal.
