(Video) Klopp’s closing message to Liverpool fans upon leaving Anfield

Jurgen Klopp spent considerable time on the pitch at Anfield after the game, far longer than his brief post-match speech. Even in his final moments there, his thoughts were with the fans.

Addressing the camera, the German manager apologized to the supporters still in the stadium, explaining that he had to attend a press conference.

It was evident that the 56-year-old wanted to interact with as many fans as possible but was constrained by his media obligations.

While Klopp will undoubtedly miss many aspects of being Liverpool’s manager, media duties are unlikely to be one of them.
