(Video) Liverpool Player’s Hilarious Stoppage Time Blunder Might Have Even Made Arne Slot Smile

Liverpool kicked off their Premier League campaign with a solid 2-0 victory away at Ipswich, marking a successful debut for new manager Arne Slot.

The first half was lackluster, but the Reds showed their class after the break. Diogo Jota and Mo Salah scored quick goals that secured the win and highlighted Liverpool’s dominance in the second half.

As the match wound down into stoppage time, Liverpool remained firmly in control. A lighthearted moment occurred when Alexis Mac Allister, positioned just outside the penalty area, tried to replicate his stunning goal against Fulham from last December. However, his volley went awry, sending the ball sailing out for an Ipswich throw-in and missing the target entirely.

Although this mishap won’t be featured in Mac Allister’s highlight reel, it was a minor slip in an otherwise assured performance, coming after the game was effectively decided.
