Mo Salah came off the bench to score his fourth goal of the season, helping Liverpool extend their advantage over West Ham in their Carabao Cup encounter.
The Egyptian winger replaced Federico Chiesa just before the 60-minute mark and wasted little time making an impact. Within 15 minutes, Salah found the back of the net, right as West Ham was pressing for an equaliser after a period of sustained pressure.
The move began when Conor Bradley surged down the right flank and delivered a cross to Alexis Mac Allister, whose shot was blocked by Lukasz Fabianski. However, Salah, alert as ever, reacted quickest to the rebound and powered the ball home in front of the Kop, securing a 3-1 lead for Liverpool.
It was a signature finish from Salah—sharp, decisive, and ruthless—cementing Liverpool’s control over the match. His goal not only eased the pressure but also put West Ham on the brink of another defeat at Anfield.
